Dance and yoga therapy at our clinic combines movement and mindfulness to promote physical and emotional well-being. Through dance therapy, clients explore self-expression and enhance coordination, flexibility, and emotional resilience in a supportive environment. Yoga therapy focuses on integrating breathing techniques, stretching, and relaxation to improve physical health, reduce stress, and increase mental clarity. Both therapies are tailored to individual needs and abilities, aiming to foster holistic healing and personal growth. Reflecting on Therapy: Movement for Mind and Body
Dance and Yoga Therapy blends expressive movement with mindfulness to promote emotional and physical well-being. Dance helps children with body awareness, coordination, and self-expression, while yoga encourages calmness, balance, and concentration. This holistic approach supports children with sensory issues, hyperactivity, or anxiety in a fun, therapeutic way.
Children can begin as early as 3 years, especially if they have sensory, attention, or coordination challenges.
Most programs run 1–2 sessions per week over a few months, depending on goals and progress.
Coordination starts developing by age 2 and becomes more refined by age 6–7.
It enhances emotional expression, improves body awareness, balance, and reduces stress or anxiety in children.
